Back Home to Salt Lake City

At the end of March Dan and I got to go back home to visit (thanks Rob and Laura)!

We took BART to the airport (No, I don't know this fellow on the right...)

At the airport

The main reason we came back was for Grandma Chipman's 90th birthday celebrations.
Grandma Betty Jeanne Chipman is one of the most amazing woman that I know! She has impacted so many people's lives. There was an open house for her while we were in town, and it was so great to see all of the people come and express how they feel about Betty Jeanne. She is so happy and encouraging! She is a strong worker and teacher. I really feel blessed to have her in my life.

We also got to hang out with some of our favorite people!!!

We got to spend time with my family...
I met my new nephew, Will, for the first time! He is so darling and I didn't want to let him go.

This is the best! My Dad playing Superman with my little nephew, Patrick! He turned his apron around backwards. My Dad is such a cute little boy at heart.

Patrick is so intense about being Superman! It is so hilarious!

My Mom is so great! She put on such a fabulous meal for us! This isn't new that she makes an awesome meal for all of us, but I definitely miss the "get togethers" since we have moved. Thanks Mom!!

I can't forget to mention that the snow was around. Wow, it sure was beautiful but I actually don't miss it that much, especially driving in it. I am sure Dan would also agree that he doesn't miss scraping snow off cars.

I got to visit my old work, Elizabeth Kimberly Design! I miss you all and love you girls!!
(Sorry I didn't get a picture with Liz and Kimberly!)

We also spent such great times with Dan's family. You can tell that Dan was brought right back to being 5 years old again. He really is my knight in shining armor!

It was great just being able to hang out.

I also got to meet my other new little nephew David!! He is so sweet. It meant a lot that we could be there for his baby blessing.
I love this picture because it is everyone all together. I feel so blessed to be in this wonderful family! I love you all!!

Overall, being home really reminds me how blessed I am. These are the people I love and care about. I feel like they are so supportive of Dan and I. Thank you to everyone for all you do!

Those were the best of times. For sure not the worst of times. I'm glad you came for a visit and that we actually got to see you this time! I hope it is not another 6 months before we see you again.

PS Thanks for keeping that beautiful picture of Judd and I nice and small. There's no need for anyone to see the lazy eye up close.

What up Chipmans? From what I can tell from your pictures, you either live in california, or china. Hope things are good for you and I'm sure we will see you around.
