Hooray for Flossing

Today I went to the dentist! This is a big deal for me since the last time I went to a dentist was October 2005. That was almost 4 years ago! You can image then how I was nervous. We haven't been to a dentist for so long because we have never had dental insurance until now. So I thought I would take advantage of the opportunity.

The good news is I HAD NO CAVITIES!!!

I want to thank floss for my victory. I also want to thank Dan because he is addicted to floss and the past four years he has reminded me to floss.

Say hello to these pearly, proud whites!

Eric and Brinn's Wedding

Just 3 weeks after Scott's homecoming we were back to Salt Lake for Dan's brother's wedding. Brinn and Eric were married on June 23rd in the Salt Lake Temple. It was such a beautiful ceremony. I have never seen them so happy before and it was so sweet to see the way that Eric looked at Brinn when they got married.

These are some pictures outside of the temple.
Brinn is a gorgeous bride.

Brinn and Eric decided to do a dinner that evening with close family at Sundance. It was perfect weather and looked beautiful thanks to Mia's , Laura Sr.'s, and Mary's genius on the decorations. I got to help put it all together and loved it.

I absolutely loved her bouquet, simple and elegant...

just like Brinn.

All of us ladies! Hotties!!!

Don't forget about Mark.

The two Lauras!

Such adorable shoes! Stacey London would be proud.

The day couldn't have been better. I really think everything was 100% Eric and Brinn, which is the way it should be.
I love you guys and couldn't be happier for you. You are such an amazing couple. Congrats!

Cheers to Scott!

I feel like I am so far behind on updating this blog with the recent events that we have had going on. But I think that is because we have been so busy!

We came back home to Salt Lake to welcome home my little brother Scott from his LDS mission to Russia at the end of May. It was a really great reunion having him home.

We flew into Salt Lake right before his flight arrived. Here are some pictures from the airport.

Waiting in anticipation...

And he's here!
(these ones are a tear-jerker)

This picture includes all of the grandkids, 3 of which Scott hadn't even met yet.
2 from Jon, 1 from Ang, 0 from me and Dan.

So cute, the two little guys playing around.

After Scott got a good nights sleep from the 18 hour flight, we headed up to a condo in Park City to all hang out together. It was so nice to be away from the concrete world of San Francisco and get into nature. I also loved spending time with everyone. We enjoyed being by the pool, going on walks, tennis, shopping, and playing games.

We also went up to the Salt Lake Olympic Park. Inside was sort of like a museum mixed with games.
Tyler really loved the mogul game,

Scott and Dan loved the map of Utah ski resorts,

and my Dad just really loved the snowscape.

We even got to go skiing!
(This is my favorite)

Yes, I actually did get to touch the real torch.

Outside was a ski jump. People come and practice their jumps in the summer and they land into a pool. It looks pretty fun.

I love taking pictures of people taking pictures. It cracks me up.
Especially my madre. Love you mom!

I love this picture.

Here is my sis with Levi in the stroller.

I love how Eliza is posing in this picture.

Cheers to you Scott! It is great having you home. I love you and I am so proud of you!
